In our internal environmental work, we must therefore set an example and show that we take sustainability issues seriously. The purpose of this policy is to clarify our ambition to be involved in creating a sustainable future on a healthy and vital planet. This policy applies to all employees who work for Senior Material Europe or perform assignments on our behalf.

To achieve our objective, we take the following approach:
- We comply with the applicable environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Environmental work shall be an integral part of day-to-day operations, where we work with continuous improvements to reduce negative environmental impact.
- We shall always evaluate our decisions, product development and processes based on their impact on the environment.
- We shall work to continuously increase resource efficiency in our use of energy, water, raw materials and other natural resources.
- We shall work to minimise waste and emissions while increasing recycling.
- We shall choose suppliers based on an assessment of the environment, quality, economy and social sustainability.
- We shall ensure that our stakeholders have access to our environmental policy so that they can adapt to our requirements. We shall also listen to our stakeholders and take their views into account to continuously improve our environmental work.
- We shall ensure that our employees are familiar with our environmental aspects by training and informing about environmental issues as necessary and by creating participation in our work on continuous improvements.
- All employees shall be informed of our environmental policy to act in accordance with it. Information about our environmental policy and where it is available, as well as any environmental risks in our operations, shall be communicated to all employees on induction.
