On September 29th, 2025, Arkema officially inaugurated its new Battery Dry Coating Laboratory at the Cerdato Research Center in Normandy, France. Senior was honored to be invited as a valued partner and to take part in the opening ceremony of this important milestone.
The state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to advancing dry coating technologies for battery electrodes – a process that eliminates the need for solvents. This innovation reduces energy consumption, lowers the carbon footprint, and simplifies manufacturing compared to traditional wet coating methods.
The new laboratory underlines Arkema’s strong commitment to sustainable innovation in the battery industry and strengthens its global R&D network. The inauguration brought together leading industry partners, united by a shared ambition to accelerate the development of greener and more efficient energy storage solutions.
