Sweden and China Launch Green Transition Working Group

On April 1st, during the latest session of the Sino-Swedish Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, a significant step was taken toward deepening collaboration between China and Sweden in the field of sustainable development. A new Working Group for Green Transition was established, aiming to strengthen partnerships and drive investments between Chinese and Swedish companies amid growing global challenges.

The working group will focus on key areas such as green energy, sustainable mobility, circular economy, and sustainable urban development — all of which align closely with our core values and strategic vision.

The discussions also emphasized the importance of upholding free trade, resisting unilateralism and protectionism, and fostering a fair, transparent trade environment for businesses. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to future cooperation and mutual support in upcoming green initiatives.

This collaboration marks a promising step forward in international efforts toward a more sustainable and interconnected future.
